Channel Steel

Channel steel: Channel steel is long stripe steel with groove section and it is used for construction and machinery carbon structural

steel. It is the section steel with complex section and the section

shape is of groove type. Channel steel is mainly used for building

structure and vehicle manufacturing, which requires better welding

and riveting performance and comprehensive mechanical

properties. The steel billet(carbon structural steel billet or low-

carbon alloy steel billet) with the carbon content not more than

0.25% is used for producing channel steel. The finished channel

steel is hot processed and its delivery condition is being

normalized or hot rolled.
